About Me..

Hetty is an English born, professional career woman and mother.

Having worked for three decades in some demanding roles, such as teaching and policing, Hetty has first-hand experience of the challenges women’s health can present – as a parent and in the workplace.

After navigating hormonal imbalance and chronic pain related to conditions such as endometriosis, adenomyosis, migraines, fibroids and surgical intervention strategies, Hetty is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experiences to help others.

Hetty shares insights of her journey through forty years of womanhood, providing accessible information that can benefit adolescent teenage girls and middle-aged women alike. Hetty’s frank disclosures also serve to educate men and boys who seek to connect and empathize with sisters, mothers and daughters.

Managing symptoms of chronic pain and reducing work-related stress through mindfulness and art therapy is another area Hetty has gained experience. Trauma-processing techniques such as coloring and painting is something Hetty heavily endorses.

At Instinktive Publishing, we believe in the transformative power of storytelling to illuminate the intricacies of the human experience.
